The
As a resident for over thirty years and member of the Warren Planning Commission and three town steering committees for ten years, William Maclay has been an active participant and leader in planning the future of this area. As a planning commission member, he was involved in drafting zoning and sub-division regulations, adapting tax stabilization provisions, and implementing farmland preservation programs.
As
a consultant to the town, he drafted the town plan, successfully represented
the town in contested Act 250 cases, and directed pathway planning as well as
joint public/private sector planning associated with the ski area
development. As a member of the town
steering committee, William Maclay was involved with the review of the ski
area's Environmental Impact Statement and overall proactive valley-wide
planning efforts to accommodate growth and retain the unique quality of the
area. |
